How it works

01
Locate the blockage
Test each fixture to identify whether it's a localised waste pipe issue or a main drain blockage. Often we can hear which it is just from running water.
02
Clear with the right tool
Toilet block — auger. Sink block — drain snake. Outside drain — rods or jetter. We don't waste your time with the wrong approach.
03
Test full flow
Once clear, we run water at full flow for several minutes from every related fixture to confirm the problem is fully resolved, not just temporarily moved.
04
CCTV if needed
If the same blockage has happened before, we may put a small camera down to look for the cause — root ingress, fat buildup, partial collapse, anything that'll make it recur.
FAQs

Common questions

FAQ-01

What if you can't clear it?

Very rare with our equipment, but if so we charge £55 for the visit and quote the next step (excavation, drain lining, etc). You're never left without options.

FAQ-02

Is the £95 a fixed price?

Yes for a standard single-blockage clearance. If the blockage is in the main sewer (typically deep, requires jetter or rods on a main run) it's £140. We confirm which before starting.

FAQ-03

Will you make a mess?

Some splash is possible but we dust-sheet the area first and clean up properly afterwards. We carry our own absorbent mats and cleaning supplies.

FAQ-04

What can I do to prevent it?

Don't flush wet wipes (even 'flushable' ones aren't), pour cooking fat in the bin not the sink, and run hot water down the kitchen sink for 30 seconds after washing up. That alone solves 80% of repeat blockages.
