An annual boiler service is the single most important thing you can do to keep your heating reliable, your gas bills low, and your warranty intact. It's a one-hour appointment that often catches issues that would otherwise turn into a £400 repair in January.

We service every major brand — Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Glow-worm, Viessmann, Potterton, Alpha. If you've got a boiler, we know it.

Most manufacturers require an annual service to keep your warranty valid. Skip a year and you could be on the hook for repair costs that should have been free.

Process

How it works

Initial inspection

Visual check of the boiler, flue, pipework, and surrounding area for any obvious issues.

Combustion analysis

We measure the gas pressure and combustion efficiency using calibrated equipment to make sure it's burning cleanly and safely.

Internal clean

Where needed, we clean the burner, heat exchanger, and condensate trap. Most service-related issues come down to dirt.

Safety device test

We verify the boiler's safety cut-offs, pressure relief, and flame failure detection are all working as intended.

Written report

You get a service record (digital or paper) confirming what was checked, plus any recommendations for the year ahead.

FAQ-01

How long does a boiler service take?

Around 45-60 minutes for a standard combi or system boiler. Older boilers or those with access issues might take longer.

FAQ-02

Do I need to be home?

Yes, for the duration of the service. We need access to the boiler and ideally a power point nearby for our equipment.

FAQ-03

Is a boiler service the same as a gas safety check?

No. A gas safety check (CP12) is a legal certificate for landlords. A service is a more thorough maintenance check. We can do both in one visit if needed.

What if you find a problem?

We'll quote any repair work in writing before doing it. You're free to get a second opinion or decline. We never start work without your written agreement.
