Most boiler faults look terrifying and turn out to be cheap. A faulty diverter valve, a stuck pressure sensor, an airlock — all common, all fixable in an hour or two. The trick is having someone diagnose it properly the first time, not throwing parts at the problem.
Our diagnostic fee covers a thorough investigation and a written quote for any repairs needed. If you go ahead with the repair, the diagnostic fee comes off the bill.
We carry common parts in the van (PCBs, sensors, pumps, diverter valves, gaskets) so most repairs are completed in one visit. For specialist parts we'll order overnight and return the next day.
How it works
Common questions
How quickly can you come out?
Standard repairs within 24-48 hours. If you've got no heat or hot water in winter, we treat it as priority — usually same-day.
What if the boiler is too old to repair?
We'll tell you honestly. Sometimes a £400 repair on a 15-year-old boiler doesn't make sense — a new boiler will pay for itself in efficiency in 5-7 years. We never push installs over repairs unless it's the genuinely better option.
Do you guarantee the repair?
Yes, 12 months on workmanship. Manufacturer warranty applies to the parts themselves (typically 12-24 months).
Will you try to upsell me?
No. If you came to us for a repair, that's what we'll quote. If we spot something else worth knowing about, we'll mention it for next time — never as a pressure tactic.
